BAHA Magazine _Rusicaa

BAHA magazine is india’s 1st Santali/tribal Fashion Magazine published by M/s Rusicaa Entertainment & Fashion LLP.
The first edition of the ‘Baha’ was launched on 16th June 2014.The very motive was to bring the young Tribal women to spotlight. Hence, the cover Page always has a Cover Girl -a tribal woman on front.1 - Copy
The inauguration of the 1st Edition of the BAHA Magazine was inaugurated at The Center for Excellency, Jamshedpur by Mr. Biren Bhutta, (Chief, TDS Tata Steel) and by Ms. Urmila Ekka (GS, TCS).
The First Cover Girl of the BAHA Magazine was Miss Ahala Tudu, from Santragachi, West Bengal. As per the company’s motive she gained a huge response after becoming the cover girl.
The 1st Edition received a huge success and lots of appraisal from all over the country. 1000 copies were initially printed, but due to the high market demand 3000 copies were published extra emptying the inventory.
Location was restricted to tribal areas only, on the beginning stage. It was sold at the tribal places of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Assam.
The 2nd Edition of the Baha gained a lot more success. In fact an audition was organized online where around 78 applicants enrolled their names for being the Cover Girl of the Magazine. Out of those young contestants Miss Mousumi Baskey got the feather in her cap.! Five more young women were included as a model for the fashion garments.
Baha once again received a wide circulation for the 2nd time. It reached a commercial platform, themagazine were being sold on Eastern Zone Railway Stationary Shops, Magazine stalls, platforms and also on Tribal exhibitions. In terms of commercial acceptance, it got a double demand and acknowledgement.
Baha has become the golden goose for Rusicaa. Everything seems to be coming up roses for the Company this year.
It has stepped on the capstone of success this year, for, after a lot of events and exhibitions and presentations and awards Rusicaa brought Baha’s into a more real, apparent,genuine face-to-face public relationship. The Audition was held in Ranchi for the first time where the contestants were confronting the judges and the founder. The auditions were held twice due to more participants coming up in number for the new face of Baha. On the 1st schedule around 130 tribal women came for the audition. Miss. Ahala and Miss. Mousumi,the first two cover girls were on the Judge seat. It was sponsoredby.HOTEL CRYSTAL RESIDDENCY, MAYUR RESTURANT AND NAWA BIMAAN
The 2nd schedule of the Audition was held at the Head Office of Rusicaa, Jamshedpur. On the whole, around 187 women participated. The garments were sponsored by Rusicaa itself. There were two photo-shoots for the contestants: Indoor and outdoor.
The audition became a successful event on the first go. It itself gained a huge public attention and popularity among the tribal youths.
For the first time Baha –will be launched online and the 3rd publication will also be available online on the main website. Seems the 3rd Edition will turn up trumps.
